SAPP Palo Alto

Meet Our Team

Helen

President

Hi! I’m Helen, president of the Palo Alto SAPP Chapter and a sophomore at Henry M. Gunn High School. I started this chapter with my friends because I thought SAPP’s effort’s against period poverty were very inspiring and that taking action could make a serious difference in my community. Outside of working to provide free menstrual hygiene products and spreading awareness with SAPP, I love art, especially painting with oil paints and viewing local art exhibitions. If you ever need to contact me, you can always reach me on Instagram! (@helen_zhengg)

Emma

Vice President

Hi! I am a sophomore at Palo Alto High School and I am the vice president of the palo alto chapter of SAPP. One thing I love about SAPP is that they are caring about a very serious topic and not talked about a lot by other organizations. I like dance and ice skating and my favorite animal is a sea otter. I’m mostly in charge of taking care of members and co-organizing events with the president! If you would like to contact me please do so through instagram! (@ema_zhang)

Casey

Public Relations & Communications

Hey there! I’m Casey Feng (@cassifier), and I’m a sophomore at Gunn High School. I’m the Public Relations & Communications Officer for the SAPP chapter in Palo Alto. Being part of SAPP allows me to work with like-minded people and help make a difference in our community. Most of the things we do are really eye-opening experiences that encourage us to go out of our comfort zone. Beyond working to alleviate period poverty, I also enjoy creative writing as well as making and listening to music. If you ever want to chat about anything, feel free to contact me on Instagram or Facebook Messenger!

Haley

Treasurer

Hello! I am a sophomore at Palo Alto High School. I like SAPP’s initiative to advocate against period poverty, an issue that affects many but does not have much attention. Some of my hobbies are figure skating and drawing! My favorite colours are anything pastel.

Reina

Secretary

Hi! I’m Reina, a sophomore at Henry M. Gunn High School, and I serve as the secretary for the Palo Alto chapter of the SAPP. What I love about SAPP is that it is student run. We get to work together with other high school students to give back to our community through spreading awareness and actively donating to nearby homeless shelters. Other than working with our team, I like to play volleyball and listen to music in my free time. You can contact me and our officers through our organization email at sapppaloalto@gmail.com
